Scotland
The Annual Report,
the quarterly magazine and the holiday
brochure are key publications of Scripture
Union Scotland. This ongoing role involves
writing, editing and managing production.
Close liaison with staff and volunteers
is essential to ensure that current
news and the vision of the organisation
are communicated through the magazine
and the annual report. The holiday brochure
is the central vehicle for marketing
3000 holidays to school age young people.
News is maintained on the website. Cygnus
recently carried out an internal communication
audit and made recommendations for improving
the flow of information round the organisation.

Teviot
The
words had to be carefully crafted to
match the style and photography in this
brochure designed by Teviot for the
new Mill:X development at Annandale
Street in Edinburgh. Other copywriting
work for Teviot includes brochures for
Cruden Homes and advertising literature
for Radissons SAS Hotels.

Scottish Enterprise
The Creative Scotland
website covered news about the creative
industries in Scotland...new media,
music, architecture, film, TV, computer
games and publishing and explored the
theme of convergence in these areas.
Articles for the site were written and
edited and regular news was provided.

at Scottish Enterprise.)

| QDS
As an associate of QDS,
Cygnus has been involved in several
of their recent projects. The second
phase of a major Health Education Board
for Scotland web based training programme
involved authoring content, designing
structure and managing the project.
For Orbital (now Sopheon) the project
involved authoring, designing and producing
web based learning for Organik, their
software which captures questions and
answers for reuse, and directs users
to sources of expertise.

| Spektra
Working with Spektra,
Cygnus developed course content for
several on-line training courses, including
a course on money laundering for a major
financial institution. By involving
Cygnus in the content creation, Spektra
were able to offer a complete solution
to their clients, using Lotus LearningSpace.
